From hotels and housing to cafes and cultural venues: every year, investment creates thousands of new jobs in our borough.
To make this happen, we work in three ways:
As a part of the planning process, all major developments need to give Brent residents priority access to a certain number of jobs, So if you live in the borough, you're already at the front of the queue.
By registeringregistering with Brent Works you'll be able to see and apply for these jobs. You'll also be able to get more help if you need it.
Brent residents have a lot to offer businesses, contributing to a skilled, competent and motivated workforce.
To tap into this local talent, simply registerregister, then give us some more information about the opportunity you are offering - this could be a job, apprenticeship, work experience or training. Your opportunity will then be posted to the Brent Works recruitment portal, and suitable applicants will be forwarded to you for consideration.
By registering with Brent Works, and keeping the details about you and your organisation up to date, you'll become part of the Brent Works Provider Network.
Register your organisationRegister your organisation as an Brent Works provider and help us to develop a comprehensive picture of provision in the borough. When we identify gaps in provision, the Brent Works Provider Network will be our first port of call for comissioning opportunities.
As a registered provider, you'll also receive invites to regular events and be able to receive candidate referrals for your services. You will be able to advertise any opportunities you have available, and promote news stories or events on the website, and in our fortnightly newsletter.
